Ding, dong ,ding, dong , that’s the school bell to go to class. Less than 5 minutes in to class, suddenly, darkness covers the room. Every body stands in shock, the teach tries to call the office but the powers out. They opened the door and everything is completely fine. All of the students and the teacher go down to the office and everything was normal again.
“what is happening” exclaimed a student.
“I don’t know” said the teacher.
The class and the teacher went to the technologies person to check there class room. The technologies person said “I don’t know”.

A mysterious power outage….? It’s something which might happen but your technologies person wasn’t able to discover why creating therefore creating a mystery. Was it a fault in the power line or has someone deliberately turned the power off?
The use of speech in your story added to your effective use of the prompt. Speech helps readers understand the thoughts and feelings of a character.
